Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Riverside, CA within a school setting. This contract role requires a highly skilled professional to provide direct on-site services to pediatric students, supporting their communication and language development.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current California Speech-Language Pathology license
  • California Teaching Credential (CTC)
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings
  • Ability to manage an average caseload effectively
  • Availability to start within the current academic year

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students as per their IEPs
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations in alignment with school protocols
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop intervention plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student goal planning

Work Schedule and Environment:

  • Full-time, 7 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
  • On-site presence required to work directly with students and staff
  • Weekly compensation with details to be discussed during the interview process
