Job Description

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available to provide specialized support in educational settings near Fullerton and Buena Park, CA. This contract role offers both part-time and full-time positions, serving high school students with mild/moderate and moderate/severe disabilities.

Location:

  • Primary work near Fullerton, CA
  • Additional service hours at a Nonpublic School in Buena Park, CA

Schedule:

  • August through December, with potential for extension
  • Full-time guaranteed through December with a reassessment for the following semester
  • Hours: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with flexibility for part-time ESY work

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver typical speech-language pathology services tailored to students with moderate to severe disabilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and create treatment plans that support communication development and functional improvement
  • Collaborate with school teams, families, and other professionals to support individualized educational goals

Qualifications:

  • Valid California SLP license required
  • Ability to communicate effectively in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Experience working with a range of pediatric populations including high school students with disabilities
  • Familiarity with providing services in both public school and nonpublic school settings
