Qualifications:
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of evaluation tools and therapy techniques for school-aged children
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create engaging, individualized treatment plans
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose language, speech, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement therapy sessions tailored to meet IEP goals
- Partner with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment, and progress reports
- Contribute to IEP meetings and offer expert recommendations for student development
- Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology
