Qualifications and Experience:
- Active NM Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Proficient in creating and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Comfortable serving students at elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct assessments, write comprehensive reports, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Develop individualized goals and monitor student progress
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate strategies
- Engage families and caregivers to support student growth both in and out of the classroom
- Document services and prepare reports in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Participate in professional development and staff meetings as required
