This contract opportunity offers the chance to support students communication goals across 2-3 school buildings near Ringgold, VA. Youll collaborate with dedicated educational teams and play a vital role in student development throughout the academic year, from August 2026 through June 2027.

Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• Demonstrated expertise in pediatric and school-based SLP services
• Ability to fulfill all Virginia and district-specific compliance standards
• Capable of providing in-person speech therapy
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with students, families, and colleagues

Responsibilities:

• Assess the individual speech and language needs of students in grades K-8
• Deliver targeted, evidence-based speech-language therapy services
• Complete comprehensive evaluations and maintain detailed documentation
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating on student goals and progress
• Manage a caseload of approximately 50-55 students, traveling between 2-3 school buildings as needed
• Contribute to a supportive learning environment where each childs voice matters
