Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist can make an immediate difference in a supportive school setting. Starting August 2026 and continuing through June 2027, you will play a key role in empowering K-12 students to achieve their communication and academic goals.
This onsite position welcomes both Clinical Fellows (CF) and those with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Youll collaborate with educators and families, crafting individualized treatment plans and bringing positive change to students school experiences.
Key Qualifications & Background:
- Masters degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Current or eligible state licensure as an SLP
- CF or CCC credentials welcomed
- Experience in K-12 educational environments preferred
- Solid knowledge of IEP processes and goal setting
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Dedication to fostering student growth and advocating for their needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy to K-12 students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Partner with teachers, special educators, and parents to support each students progress
- Maintain thorough and accurate records, contributing to compliance and best practices
- Communicate clearly with all stakeholders regarding student performance and strategies
- Participate in team meetings and stay current with best practices in school-based SLP services
