A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Ridgecrest, California, serving an elementary caseload. This full-time, onsite role offers the chance to work directly within school environments and support students' speech and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy to elementary students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school district policies.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities to stay current with best practices.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification and credentials, including CCC-SLP preferred.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting.
- Familiarity with educational standards and protocols related to speech and language services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with school staff and families.
- Ability to commit to full-time onsite work for the duration of the school year.
Location and Schedule:
- Position based onsite in Ridgecrest, CA.
- Work schedule consists of 37.5 hours per week, aligned with the academic calendar from August 6, 2026, to May 27, 2027.
