A contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to serve an elementary school setting in Ridgecrest, CA. This role is onsite only, focusing on delivering direct speech-language services to elementary students within the school district.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Experience working as a school-based SLP
- Ability to manage an elementary school caseload effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within a multidisciplinary educational team
- Commitment to providing in-person therapeutic support to students
Location:
- Ridgecrest, California
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language evaluation and intervention services to elementary students
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and educational goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment and student progress
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in school-based speech pathology
