Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state licensure (Virginia or eligible for reciprocity)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Experience with pediatric caseloads, preferably in school settings
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with educators, parents, and support teams

Position Details:

  • Travel SLP assignment in a school-based setting
  • Start date: ASAP
  • End date: End of academic year (with potential for extension)
  • 35-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday (exact schedule based on district)
  • Caseload: Elementary to early high school-aged students (ages 5-16)
  • Average number of students: 30-45
  • Duties include assessment, therapy, IEP meetings, documentation, and collaboration with teams
