Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Virginia
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
- CCC-SLP preferred but strong CF candidates encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive student support
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Promote inclusive learning environments and provide resources for classroom strategies
