Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology, with experience in pediatric populations
- Proven ability to work with Pre-K, Kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school students
- Deep understanding of childhood speech and language development
- Experience in both one-on-one and group sessions with children
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and educators
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans tailored to each students goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support students educational progress
- Document assessments, treatment outcomes, and progress notes in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP processes
- Engage in ongoing professional development and remain current with best practices in pediatric SLP
