Step into a rewarding opportunity tailored for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists! This contract position focuses on supporting preschool-aged students in an engaging, school-based environment. Youll help young learners develop their communication skills, making a meaningful impact on their early educational journey.
As an on-site SLP-CCC, youll enjoy a consistent schedule with 39 hours per week while collaborating closely with an experienced team dedicated to student success. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying, evaluating, and addressing speech and language needs for preschoolers, working hand-in-hand with teachers and families to deliver individualized care.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) eligible
- Pediatric and/or school-based SLP experience preferred
- Valid North Carolina license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Compassion for working with young children in an educational setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to preschool students
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student growth
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education
