Take the opportunity to focus your Speech Language Pathology expertise in a vibrant K-5 school setting. This contract position offers the chance to make a powerful impact on young learners, working onsite with a supportive team, and utilizing your specialized skills in pediatric intervention and communication development.
Your week will consist of engaging workdays spanning seven hours each (including a half-hour unpaid lunch). Youll help students build confidence and critical communication abilities while developing strong relationships with educators and families.
What Were Seeking:
- Current SLP license in Wisconsin
- DPI Certification
- Clinical experience in a school-based environment
- Strength in pediatric SLP, including collaboration on IEPs and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with both onsite and teletherapy service delivery
- CCC or CFY considered; strong mentorship available
- Ability to skillfully manage a K-5 caseload
Your Key Contributions:
- Provide screening, evaluation, and diagnosis of speech/language and communication disorders for K-5 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress reports, and comply with state and district standards
- Offer both direct and consultative therapy in a dynamic school environment
