Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist Licensure (CA SLP)
- California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CA CTC) certification
- Experience or strong interest in elementary-aged pediatric populations
- Ability to work with students across a spectrum of communication needs
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY applicants welcome, with a commitment to professional growth
- Effective collaboration skills for working with staff and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and comprehensive evaluations
- Provide therapeutic interventions tailored to individual and group settings
- Develop and implement IEP goals in partnership with educational teams
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies
- Serve as a resource for colleagues, aiding staff education about speech and language development
