Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid state SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience serving pediatric populations in educational environments
  • Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in children and adolescents
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication needs for students across pre-school through high school levels
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions tailored to each students goals
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary to promote student success
  • Document services, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
  • Educate families and school staff on strategies to support communication development inside and outside the classroom
  • Provide consultation and support for teachers to implement targeted intervention strategies
  • Foster a welcoming, encouraging environment for students of all backgrounds and abilities
