Work closely with a diverse population, including early childhood, kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school studentsranging from pre-K through grade 12.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Experience serving pediatric populations in educational environments
- Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in children and adolescents
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
- Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication needs for students across pre-school through high school levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions tailored to each students goals
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary to promote student success
- Document services, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- Educate families and school staff on strategies to support communication development inside and outside the classroom
- Provide consultation and support for teachers to implement targeted intervention strategies
- Foster a welcoming, encouraging environment for students of all backgrounds and abilities
