Embark on an exciting opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing crucial support to students in an educational setting near Renton, WA. This contract position lasts through the end of the school year and welcomes both full-time and part-time professionals. Your schedule will be onsite, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with specific building assignments tailored to your preferences and expertise. Caseloads, ranging across elementary, middle, and high school levels, will be assigned after interviews to best suit your interests. Key Qualifications:
- Valid WA SLP license with ESA certification required
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFYs)
- Recent OSPI fingerprints (within the last 2 years)
- Experience or strong interest in working within schools
- Commitment to comprehensive documentation and collaboration
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose communication challenges, including receptive-expressive language, articulation, fluency, voice, neuromuscular, and non-vocal issues
- Document evaluation outcomes and clearly communicate how the disorder affects student learning and participation
- Directly support student success by recommending evidence-based interventions
- Develop and implement individualized programs and contribute to IEPs
- Provide ongoing support, refine treatment plans, and collaborate closely with educators and families
