Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students for the upcoming school year. This position offers a dynamic and collaborative environment where your expertise will have a meaningful impact on learners across various age groups. With a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week and a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students, youll work alongside passionate educators and support staff to deliver exceptional services.
Assignment Details:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in preK-12 settings
- Caseload assignments tailored to align with your strengths and experience
- Foster communication skills to help students thrive in academic and social settings
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Assess, diagnose, and document student progress and therapy outcomes
- Engage in parent and teacher consultations and deliver professional recommendations
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Washington state SLP license
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification
- CCC-SLP or CFY candidates are both welcome
- Previous experience in school-based settings is beneficial but not required
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
