Position Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Assignment Dates: ASAP  June 9, 2027
Schedule: 35hrs/per week - Onsite
Employment Type: Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite services for a school-based assignment in Williamsburg, Virginia. The selected therapist will support students by conducting assessments and evaluations, providing direct therapy services, and participating as a key member of the special education team throughout the school year.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech-language screenings, assessments, and comprehensive evaluations.
  • Interpret assessment results and develop appropriate recommendations.
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students according to IEP goals.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely documentation and therapy notes.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers.
  • Attend and actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local special education regulations.
  • Caseload: To be discussed during the interview process

Qualifications

  • Required Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current and active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist License.
  • Eligibility to work in a school setting.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred
  • Prior school-based experience.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations and communication disorders.
