Step into a dynamic contract opportunity serving students in elementary school settings in the Redwood City, CA area. This rewarding position involves providing supplemental speech-language pathology services, ensuring students receive additional support where needed most. Youll work onsiteno virtual assignmentssplit between two elementary campuses: Braly ES for mild to moderate cases and Briarwood ES for general education and preschool students. Each day, youll be at one school, rotating locations throughout the week.

Your main focus will be supporting existing SLP teams, helping with large caseloads, and conducting assessments for overloads. You will not be acting as the primary SLP for any site, but your expertise will directly enhance services and contribute to meaningful student outcomes. The assignment is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, starting at the beginning of the school year and continuing until the district completes its internal hire.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Valid SLP, SLP-CCC, or SLPSchool credentials; licensure is preferred but not required
• Recent experience in school-based SLP settings is highly valued
• Familiarity with both general education and special education caseloads
• Strong assessment and organizational abilities
• Outstanding communication and collaborative skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language services onsite at assigned campuses
• Provide assessment support to alleviate caseload overloads
• Collaborate with current SLP staff and educational teams
• Rotate between two elementary locations, one per day
