Job Description

Make a meaningful difference supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based contract role. Multiple options are available to fit your preference, with assignments beginning August 7, 2026, near Redwood City, CA (in-person onlyno virtual assignments). This is an excellent chance to contribute your expertise for the beginning of the school year, working alongside skilled colleagues in supportive educational environments.

Openings include:

  • One part-time SLP to provide supplemental support across Braly Elementary (serving students with moderate to moderate-severe needs) and Briarwood Elementary (serving general education and preschool students). You wont be the primary SLP at either location, but play a crucial role in supporting larger caseloads and completing assessments. Youll work at one site per day on a rotating basis, full time Monday through Friday, 8:00am3:00pm. This placement extends until the district hires internally.
  • Two full-time SLPs supporting either Petersen Middle School or Santa Clara High School, focusing on general education caseloads of approximately 40-50 students each. These placements extend through mid to late September, with typical hours from 8:00am3:30pm (exact schedule may vary).

Ideal candidates:

  • Hold SLP-CCC credentials or are licensed/eligible to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist (license preferred, not required)
  • Have school-based SLP experience, particularly with assessments and a variety of student needs
  • Excel independently and collaboratively with educators in dynamic school settings
  • Thrive in flexible work arrangements with varying assignments and locations
