Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from PreK through 12th grade with a dynamic and collaborative school-based setting near Redlands, CA. This position offers hands-on experience serving a diverse student population with mild to moderate needs, as you work on-site to provide essential speech-language therapy services.
As part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering both direct and indirect services, conducting evaluations, and developing and implementing IEPs. Your specialized skills in pediatrics, healthcare SLP, and comprehensive knowledge of school-based therapy will be highly valued.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid CA Speech-Language Pathologist License or CA CTC required
- Eligibility for or possession of ASHA CCCs or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in pediatrics, school-based practice, or healthcare SLP settings preferred
- Expertise in conducting assessments and writing IEPs for mild to moderate disabilities
- Ability to adapt to a variety of age groups and educational environments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to students across PreK-12
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and maintain accurate treatment plans and documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
- Provide both direct interventions and indirect consultative services
- Maintain flexibility as caseload details may evolve
