Job Description

A full-time contract opportunity is available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with California certification to support two educational caseloads from August through December, covering maternity leaves. This role focuses on delivering services within public schools located near Redlands, CA, including areas such as Beaumont, San Bernardino, Corona, and Rancho Cucamonga.

Two primary caseloads are offered: one elementary level serving approximately 53-55 students across two sites, and one high school level caseload with an eAcademy program, comprising approximately 59-65 students. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), participating in Initial Special Education Team (IST) meetings, and providing therapy sessions for students with a range of mild to severe disabilities.

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required
  • Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Candidates who have completed their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or are Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
  • Experience working in school settings with pediatric populations is advantageous
  • Must be able to work full-time, approximately 37.5 to 40 hours per week
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families

Additional details:

  • This role does not involve virtual services
  • SLP Assistants (SLPAs) are not required
  • Interviews are being conducted via Zoom with immediate hiring decisions expected
