Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students in an engaging ASD setting for the upcoming 20262027 school year. This onsite position is perfect for a passionate speech-language pathologist committed to making a difference in young learners lives.

As an integral member of the education team, youll provide tailored speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 25 elementary students. Your expertise will help create an inclusive and supportive environment where every child can thrive and develop essential communication skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Active SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in good standing
  • Experience working with children, particularly in school or ASD settings
  • Knowledge of speech-language assessment tools and intervention strategies
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of documentation and ethical practice

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students in an elementary ASD classroom
  • Develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring to inform instruction
  • Consult regularly with teachers, support personnel, and families to facilitate student progress
  • Complete all required documentation in a timely, accurate manner
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, enthusiastic school culture
