Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP

  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Creative problem-solver, comfortable adapting to diverse student needs

What Youll Do:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students with speech and language challenges
  • Develop targeted therapy plans and provide direct interventions
  • Document student progress and maintain comprehensive records in accordance with school standards
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, support personnel, and parents to deliver cohesive care and support
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional insight and advocacy for student needs
  • Provide training or guidance to teachers and classroom aides on communication strategies
  • Educate and empower students, fostering self-confidence in their communicative abilities
