This full-time, contract position serves Pre-K through 8th-grade students across multiple school sites. Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Current, active California SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted
- Experience in school-based or pediatric populations preferred
- Proficiency in teletherapy and in-person intervention a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students in individual and small group settings
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations
- Adapt therapy techniques to utilize both in-person and virtual platforms as needed
- Travel between 34 assigned school sites within the district
