Desired Qualifications:

• Active California SLP License required
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
• Comfortable managing a K-8th grade caseload
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Motivation to create engaging, individualized speech therapy plans
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Strong documentation and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in grades K8
• Conduct assessments to determine therapy needs and eligibility
• Develop, implement, and revise IEP goals in collaboration with educational teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
• Participate in team meetings, staff consultations, and parent conferences as needed
• Offer support for classroom strategies and accommodations to promote communication success
• Stay current with best practices and state guidelines for school-based therapy

This is an onsite-only role, offering the chance to work closely with students and staff right on campus. Youll find support from experienced colleagues to ensure you have everything needed for a successful assignment.
