Qualifications:

• Valid California Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license required
• Previous experience in school-based SLP settings is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of individualized education program (IEP) development and documentation
• Ability to effectively engage with children across K-8 grade levels
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
• Commitment to cultural competence and inclusive practices

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among K-8 students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each students unique needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and administrators, to optimize student outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff discussions
• Offer professional guidance to school staff regarding speech and language interventions
• Foster a supportive and encouraging environment for student growth
