Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the Extended School Year (ESY) program, serving students from kindergarten through 8th grade. This contract role, located in Redding, CA, provides the opportunity to work directly onsite with a diverse elementary and middle school caseload, supporting students' speech and language development during the summer months.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license required
  • Experience working with K-8 student populations preferred
  • Strong evaluation, assessment, and individualized therapy planning skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to delivering evidence-based intervention and progress monitoring

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in individual or group settings
  • Document student progress and maintain clear records according to program guidelines
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and staff to support student success
  • Participate in ESY meetings and training as required

Location: This position requires onsite work in Redding, CA throughout the ESY period.
