A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Redding, CA, supporting students from kindergarten through 8th grade. This role is based on-site within a school setting and offers a contract position covering the immediate start through the extended school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech therapy services to K-8 students with diverse communication needs
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license is required
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a K-8 setting
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech-language disorders and intervention strategies
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to manage a full caseload efficiently and maintain detailed records
