Make a meaningful impact working onsite with elementary students in a supportive school setting for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity is perfect for Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about helping children succeed in their communication and language goals. Youll be key in replacing virtual SLP support with in-person expertise, creating a nurturing environment for student growth.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Current CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) credentials
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in a school setting (or eligibility and willingness to quickly obtain)
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in schools strongly preferred
- Comfort managing an elementary school caseload, adapting services as needed
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to onsite work for the full school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services exclusively onsite to elementary students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans that align with students IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success
- Collect and maintain data on student progress, preparing required reports and documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
- Serve as an approachable resource for students, families, and school staff
