Job Description
Make a difference in the lives of children by providing speech-language services as a full-time contract speech-language pathologist. Work with students ages 6-12 across five days per week, using your expertise in educational and healthcare settings to help students reach their full communication potential.
Ideal candidates are experienced in school-based and pediatric speech-language therapy, with skills spanning in-person and teletherapy modalities. Whether you hold your CCC or are completing your CFY, there is a place for you to make a meaningful impact while developing your professional practice. This contract position calls for New York SLP credentials.
What Were Looking For:
- Valid New York SLP certification or license
- Experience in school and/or pediatric SLP settings
- Background in both in-person and teletherapy is a plus
- SLP-CCC or eligible SLP-CFY
- Knowledge of school protocols and IEP procedures
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting students speech and language development
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and deliver speech/language therapy for K-6 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and intervention strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
- Engage in teletherapy services and participate in school meetings when needed
