Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-8th grade students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist near northern California. This full-time, onsite role emphasizes impactful, hands-on work within a collaborative educational environment. Youll play a central part in helping students develop essential communication skills for success both in and out of the classroom.
Your expertise will directly benefit a diverse caseload, working closely with teachers, families, and other professionals. Immediate start dates are available to cover the extended school year (ESY).
Qualifications:
- Active California SLP License (required)
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Experience working in a school setting with elementary/middle school students preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a K-8 caseload and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Write progress reports, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student outcomes
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs in a dynamic school environment
