Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract position is based in a school setting, working with grades K5 to provide essential speech and language services. The ideal candidate is passionate about fostering positive communication skills in young learners and has experience within elementary environments.
This in-person role offers a flexible work schedule, with preference for full-time attendance (37.5 hours per week) but consideration for part-time applicants as well. Youll play a key role in helping students achieve their communication goalsmaking a measurable impact as you collaborate with teachers, parents, and fellow specialists. The position extends through the remainder of the school year, offering stability and the chance to build lasting connections with students and colleagues alike.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Proven experience delivering SLP services in school settings, especially at the elementary level
- Strong background working with students in grades K5
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress tracking, and documentation
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary education teams
What Youll Do:
- Conduct assessments and deliver speech and language therapy to elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in team meetings and share insights to support student success
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and strategies for support
