Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience or strong interest in school-based and pediatric speech therapy
- Solid skills in assessment, intervention, and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students referred for speech and language services, using standardized techniques and tools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment programs targeting communication, speech, and language goals
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student achievement
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Provide consultation and training to school staff and families regarding communication strategies
- Stay current on best practices in school-based and pediatric speech therapy
