Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow considered
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and school-aged children
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in collaboration and documentation, with a commitment to student-centered practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, comprehensive evaluations, and assessments of students with speech-language, communication, or swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and related service professionals
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy, tracking progress and modifying interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
- Attend IEP meetings, collaborate on intervention strategies, and contribute to a positive learning environment
- Educate families and staff on communication disorders, therapy techniques, and supportive classroom strategies
