Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Valid NY State Speech Language Pathology license (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
  • Previous experience with K-12 student populations preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Deliver direct and indirect services to a diverse K-12 caseload
  • Develop and document individualized treatment plans and progress notes
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and guidance
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed to maximize student success
