Qualifications:
- Valid NY State Speech Language Pathology license (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Deliver direct and indirect services to a diverse K-12 caseload
- Develop and document individualized treatment plans and progress notes
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and guidance
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed to maximize student success
