Job Description

Step into a dynamic role supporting young learners as a Speech Language Pathologist for a part-time, contract opportunity for the upcoming school year. Contributing your expertise two days a week, youll work with a vibrant K-5th grade caseload, providing both in-person and teletherapy support for students near Randolph, NY.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Current state SLP license (or eligibility)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations highly valued
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices for K-5th grade speech, language, and communication needs
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery considered an advantage
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language screenings and comprehensive evaluations for K-5 students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services in both face-to-face and virtual formats
  • Maintain accurate records and thorough progress documentation
  • Engage families and school staff to support each students communication goals
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional recommendations
