Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide services across the PreK-12 spectrum for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with diverse student populations in a K-12 educational setting located in Hesperia, CA. The role supports mild to moderate disabilities and involves delivering comprehensive speech-language services tailored to individual student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions.
  • Manage an average caseload of approximately 55 students, which may vary by school level.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
  • Participate in ongoing in-house training and professional development.
  • Adhere to state licensure and education standards while delivering all services.
  • Provide teletherapy services as needed to reach remote learners.
  • Work daily 6.5 hours with flexibility to extend to 8 hours if documentation supports.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California SLP license or California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, pediatric, teletherapy, and school-based speech-language pathology.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) strongly desired.
  • Ability to work effectively with mild to moderate disability classifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse, school-based caseload.
