Multiple openings are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists eager to make a difference across multiple locations near Ramona, CA. You'll engage in traditional SLP responsibilities in diverse school settings, providing vital services that empower students to communicate confidently and succeed academically.
What You Need:
- Valid California SLP License or CTC.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
- Demonstrated experience working as an SLP in a school environmentprevious school-based experience is a must.
- Strong background in pediatric speech-language therapy.
- Adaptability for working across several schools with an itinerant model.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, intervention, and ongoing therapy services for a K-12 caseload as assigned by the districts model.
- Travel between multiple school sites as part of your weekly schedule.
- Deliver individualized services in accordance with IEPs and collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff.
- Maintain accurate records, develop progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings.
- Stay current with best practices and compliance requirements in both educational and healthcare SLP fields.
