Desired Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license (or eligibility and willingness to obtain by June or July for out-of-state applicants)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience in school settings across elementary, middle, or high school, or a genuine interest in gaining such experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable interacting with students, staff, and families
- Open to candidates who are excited to relocate and explore new communities
- Onsite providers only; remote or teletherapy services are not available for these roles
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat students needing speech and language support in accordance with IEPs and school policies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement specialized intervention plans
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote academic success and positive student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings as needed
