Bring your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist to a vibrant school environment supporting elementary, middle, and high school students in the Fayetteville, NC area. This full-time contract position offers a dynamic opportunity to make a meaningful impact from August 13, 2025, through May 27, 2027, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. You'll play a key role in delivering essential speech and language services in a supportive onsite settingremote modalities are not available for this roleto help students thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications:
- Must possess an active North Carolina SLP license, or be eligible to obtain one before the assignment starts (out-of-state candidates considered).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
- Previous experience delivering speech and language services in a school setting (elementary, middle, and high school) highly preferred.
- Strong communication, flexibility, and organizational skills.
- Able to work onsite throughout the school year.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students, adapting interventions to meet individual student needs.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to create and implement effective treatment plans.
- Complete evaluations, write reports, and maintain accurate IEP documentation in accordance with school and state requirements.
- Participate in IEP meetings to contribute expertise and progress updates.
