Candidates should possess a valid Speech Language Pathologist license for Texas and hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). The schedule includes 37.5 hours per week, spread across five days, working with a diverse caseload encompassing a range of ages and abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas Speech Language Pathologist license, in good standing
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and families
  • Exceptional documentation, assessment, and progress monitoring abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Deliver therapy services in individual and group settings
  • Participate in ARD/IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommending goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and district guidelines
