Job Description

Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist providing valuable support to K-5 students in a welcoming school environment near Winchester, MA. This contract position features a manageable caseload of approximately 30 students and allows you to play a pivotal role in the development of young learners.

As a key member of the special education team, you will deliver direct speech and language services, conduct comprehensive evaluations, and actively participate in the IEP process. Your expertise will help shape individualized education plans and ensure every student is supported on their journey to communication success.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Massachusetts SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
  • Previous experience in educational settings with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language interventions to a diverse caseload of K-5 students
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine therapy needs
  • Write, update, and present IEPs as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Provide progress reports and collaborate closely with staff and families
  • Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate student records
  • Attend professional meetings and engage in ongoing professional development
