Step into a vital role supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a full-time, school-based contract opportunity near Quincy, MA. You'll work onsite with a dedicated ASD PreK classroom, helping students build essential communication skills that shape their futures.
In this position, youll collaborate with educators and allied professionals, providing targeted interventions to a small group of 6-8 students. The schedule aligns with staff hours from 7:45 am to 1:30 pm, and student hours from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, offering a focused workday that prioritizes meaningful progress and work-life balance.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts
- Experience with pediatric populations, especially early childhood or preschool age
- Background working in school settings and familiarity with IEP development and ASD strategies
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for PreK students
- Designing and implementing individualized therapy plans in coordination with teachers
- Documenting progress, participating in IEP meetings, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
- Offering guidance to staff and families to support student growth
- Creating an encouraging and inclusive learning environment for each child
