Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the 23/24 school year. Perfectly situated for candidates near Quincy, MA, with needs in Billerica, Lawrence, and Littleton, this position offers varied experiences in pediatric speech therapy within the academic setting. You'll work with K-4 students, providing services across a diverse caseload and collaborating with educators and families.
What were looking for:
- Current MA Speech-Language Pathology license
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC); Clinical Fellows (CF) are not eligible
- DESE certification required
- Recent experience working in school environments with elementary-aged students
- Availability for full-time (37.5 hours per week) for the upcoming school year
- Comfort with a range of student needs and disabilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
What youll be doing:
- Conducting screenings, assessments, and evaluations for K-4 students
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Supporting a varied caseload encompassing a wide spectrum of speech and language disorders
- Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with all regulations
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
