Job Description

Begin in the 2023-2024 school year with a 37.5-hour workweek, collaborating with a dedicated team to serve a diverse caseload of K-4 students across a district well-regarded for its commitment to student success.

Ideal candidates will bring a passion for school-based speech-language pathology and a desire to make a difference in young learners lives. You'll have the chance to work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues while utilizing your expertise in pediatrics and school-based interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) credentialClinical Fellows (CFs) are not eligible
  • Massachusetts SLP licensure and DESE certification required
  • Minimum of 1-2 years recent school-based SLP experience, ideally with elementary populations
  • Strong understanding of a variety of disabilities and creative approaches to therapy
  • Availability for full-time work throughout the school year
  • Collaborative communication skills to partner with faculty, students, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy for K-4 students
  • Document student progress and meet IEP compliance requirements
  • Work effectively across multiple elementary campuses with a range of student needs
  • Collaborate in student support teams and attend IEP meetings
  • Offer both individual and group therapy in dynamic school settings
