Job Description

A growing school district in Massachusetts is seeking a full-time, skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience supporting elementary students in grades K-4. This contract role is ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in a dynamic learning environment and who possess a strong foundation in school-based speech services.

Responsibilities include providing comprehensive speech and language assessments, designing individualized intervention plans, and delivering therapy to students with a variety of communication disorders. The SLP will collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and promote effective communication skills. Candidates must maintain compliance with state regulations and district policies.

Key qualifications and desired experience:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (no Clinical Fellows)
  • Valid Massachusetts SLP license and DESE certification
  • Proven experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably in school settings with elementary-aged children
  • Ability to work with diverse caseloads involving various communication disabilities
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills tailored to early childhood development
  • Commitment to full-time availability during the academic year (37.5 hours per week)

Location:

  • Position based in the Quincy, MA area, serving elementary schools within the district. Proximity to neighboring communities such as Billerica, Lawrence, and Littleton is beneficial.
