Exciting opportunity for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-person support to K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role offers the chance to empower students communication and learning across a diverse population, working onsite 37.5 hours per week from September 1, 2026 through June 23, 2027. Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license in Washington State (or willingness to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Eligible for or possession of Washington ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification
- Fingerprinting through OSPI required, or willingness to complete this process
- Recent experience in school-based SLP practice with elementary, middle, or high school students is strongly preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaborative skills
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting screenings, evaluations, and individualized therapy for students with diverse communication needs
- Developing and implementing IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintaining thorough records and ensuring compliance with all regulations
- Assisting with prevention and intervention strategies within the school environment
