Step into a dynamic school-based role providing essential speech-language services to students ranging from preschool through 12th grade. This contract opportunity is perfect for professionals seeking a full-time assignment (37.5 hours/week) during the 20262027 school year, serving caseloads that do not exceed 50 students. Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP License for Washington State
- ESA Certification required
- Open to both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and SLPs holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- School-based SLP experience preferred, but strong clinical background welcomed
- Comfort working with preschool through high school age groups
Role Highlights:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations in speech, language, voice, and fluency across diverse age groups
- Participate on multidisciplinary teams and contribute to eligibility decisions for special education
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs while maintaining accurate documentation (including Medicaid billing and compliance with IDEA and state codes)
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy focused on students individual communication needs
- Consult and collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, administrators, and families to support student success
- Organize and balance caseloads, scheduling therapy, reevaluations, and IEP meetings efficiently
- Provide professional development to staff, fostering inclusive and supportive classroom environments
