Job Description

A school-based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the 2025-2026 school year to support students across multiple locations including Pueblo, Ellicott, and Fremont, Colorado. This full-time contract position involves serving K-12 students within public school settings, providing essential speech and language therapy services to enhance communication skills and support educational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in school meetings and professional development activities as required

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) credential
  • Current Colorado SLP license and Colorado Department of Education license for school-based practice
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students and staff
  • Ability to manage caseload and organize workflow efficiently

Work Details:

  • 37.5 hours per week during the 2025-2026 school year
  • Contract duration corresponding to the school calendar
