Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in schools
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Collaborative mindset for working closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine students speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy sessions to students, adjusting approaches as needed to ensure progress
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and prepare progress reports in accordance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
