Energize your career as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist working with students for the 2026-2027 school year in the Providence, RI area. Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligibility for RIDE PK-12 SLP Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Minimum one year of recent, relevant experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Ability to work seamlessly as part of a collaborative educational team
- SLPAs and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are not eligible for this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs
- Deliver direct therapy services and provide consultation to staff and families
- Maintain compliance with federal and state documentation requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary evaluations, and deliver ongoing progress updates
- Flexibly adjust to varying caseloads and support multiple schools, as needed
Embark on this full-time contract position, guaranteeing 35 hours per week through the end of the 2026-2027 academic year.
