Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and state licensure
  • Experience working with a variety of age groups: Early Childhood, Pre-K, Elementary, Middle, and High School
  • Strong background in speech and language assessment, individualized education plans (IEPs), and intervention strategies
  • Comfortable collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, voice, and fluency concerns for students in grades Pre-K through 12
  • Develop tailored treatment plans and effective interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure integrated support for each student
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting strategies to meet diverse learning needs
  • Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding speech and language development
