Bring your expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology to a vibrant educational setting, supporting students across early childhood through high school. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality assessments, individualized therapy, and ongoing progress monitoring. This contract role offers the chance to work with diverse student populations, from Pre-K to Grade 12, making a significant impact on communication development at every stage.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA certification or eligibility
- Experience providing speech-language services in school settings
- Knowledge of therapy techniques for early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school students
- Familiarity with IEP process and progress documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt instruction for students with a range of communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Administer speech and language assessments to identify students needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language
- Serve students across multiple grade levels, from Pre-K through high school
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support each childs academic and social success
- Participate in IEP meetings, and contribute to development and review of goals
- Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress, and recommendations
- Provide in-service training and consultation regarding speech and language concerns as needed
