Key Qualifications:

• Valid ASHA SLP (CCC or CF) license for Alabama
• Professional educator license for Alabama (details available through the official state certification portal)
• Previous experience in schools or a strong desire to work with students
• Willingness to supervise clinical fellows if holding CCC credentials
• Adaptability to serve one or occasionally two schools, primarily at elementary and middle levels
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60 students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech, language, and communication services to students
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs
• Collaborate with educators and other school professionals to support students educational goals
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state policies
• Supervise and mentor clinical fellows, if eligible
• Engage with parents and provide resources to promote carryover of skills
